Grit spiritual perserverance

The Tools of the Gritty

Sunday :: Worship / Fellowship

Message for Sunday, March 4th

Grit is “the ability to persevere over a long time without giving up.” It is having stamina. It’s daily commitment, stick-to-itiveness–day in and day out over weeks, months, and years. James encourages us to consider the flip side of challenges. Challenges can produce perseverance!

Scripture: James 1:2-4 & John 15:4

Key Verse

Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.

James 1:2-4

We already have people on the ground, and more are on their way shortly. Pastor Bryan, Denny Freed, Jay Pravecek, Yancy Terland, Josh, Mery and Emma Donald, along with Josh’s parents, Bill and Betsy Donald will be representing Montana On A Mission on this trip. MOM’s focus will be water development in the Siana area of Narok County, in rural Kenya, and, working with pastors and church leaders of the Maasai tribe. Our people will be there from mid February to mid March. We thank you for your faithful prayers!
