Bring Your Bible

Summer is here and we want to encourage you to ‘Bring Your Bible’ to worship each Sunday. Augustine, an early church leader once wrote, “Where Scripture speaks, God speaks.”
One day, sitting in a garden, he heard over the wall a child playing a game, calling, “Take up and read . . . take up and read.” Even though Augustine wasn’t a Christian, he opened the Bible and started reading. His eyes fell on a passage in Romans that challenged him to change his life. Augustine experienced being born again “through the living and enduring Word of God.”
We are kicking off the summer looking at passages that will help us understand the power of God’s Word in our lives.
Family Ministries
Summer Camps
Beartooth Christian Camp and Clydehurst Christian Ranch not only hold amazing camps for youth, but also for couples and families too, as well as camps that specialize in activities like horsemanship and fly fishing.

Youth and Kids’ Ministries
Kids’ Group and Youth Group on Wednesday nights will be starting back up on September 8. More info to follow.
Please pray for our leaders and volunteers as they begin to make preparation for all our youth and children’s ministries.

MOM Golf Night
Join us Friday, August 13 at 5:30 pm at Overland Golf Course in Big Timber, for a 4-Person Scramble. Put together your own team, or MOM can put together one for you.

Backpack to School
Montana on a Mission is once again sponsoring a Homeward Bound project that serves our own community. We want to invite you to participate.
We will provide all of the school supplies for a backpack. You can sponsor a backpack (i.e. a child), pack it, and we will give you their initials to pray during the school year.

Fall Women’s Bible Study
Kardiology 101: How To Guard Your Heart, by Julie Gossack
Tobie Countryman will be leading this 14-week study beginning in September; more details to follow. For more info on this study, call Tobie at 930-1792. The cost of this study is $28, which includes an in-depth study guide and study cards. Sign-up is located in our church lobby.
