Greater Than is a new sermon series for the fall. It comes from 1 John 4:4 which says, “he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.”

• Life with Jesus is Greater Than life without him.
• True faith is Greater Than fear, false teaching, and fake news
• Moral living is Greater Than sinful pleasure.
• Christlike love is Greater Than selfish ambition.
• And of course, Christ in you is Greater Than the enemy in the world.

Key Verse

You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.

1 John 4:4

During the 2nd service, students will be dismissed following worship. Check out the sign at the Welcome Center for class locations.

Long before shoeboxes arrive in more than 100 countries, volunteer National Leadership Teams train pastors and community leaders who want to share the message of the Gospel and bless children.

Pastors around the world host outreach events in places where people may not know Christ and invite them to follow Him. In many places, they also offer The Greatest Gift, a Gospel story booklet Samaritan’s Purse developed for shoebox recipients.

As a result of what they learn, boys and girls grow in Christ and share with friends and family. This often brings parents, siblings, and friends to accept Christ and become active members in the local church. Families are reached, churches grow, new churches are started, and communities are transformed.
